High AFP levels
Hello all I just had some testing for genetic disorders done and my AFP levels were high.... Like significantly high....
AFP was 9.0 normal range is 1.6-4.5
AFP-L3 was 26.8 normal range is 0.5-9.9!
I am freaking out a little because I googled it (my fetal specialist is out of town until next week) and now I feel like my heart is about to pop out of my chest..... The attached picture is what I found on my google search...
Has anyone ever had this happen? What was the outcome? What other tests did your Dr do after this?
Any input is appreciated! By the way I am 13 weeks 3 days today.
