Will yours be a straight up nursery or have added function?

We just bought a futon sofa for the nursery so that when guests are visiting husband and myself will sleep in the nursery with the baby and guests can have the master. (All of our family is from out of state and will be coming to visit at some point after baby arrives).

Do you think this could work?

Are you trying to squeeze extra function out of your nursery and if so, what's your approach? Just trying to figure this all out.
