What happens if....

Question

My husband has a cold when I go into labor?? He started sneezing last night and today he's all stuffed up and didn't wake up til 11:30 this morning.. I'm 40+5 today and slightly freaking out that I might get sick or that he won't be able to be there for the baby's birth.. has this happened to anyone?

I had a cold when I delivered my daughter. Everything was great, also breastfed. My daughter is not 3 weeks old with a cold from my son. They did a test to make sure that's all it was. Pretty much just wash your/his hands, and try to refrain from kissing the face of baby till he feels better. :) tis the season

following. good question. both hubby and i have bad colds.  anyone have any insight?  (sorry your hubs is sick. that is NOT comforting at a time like this!!!)
