Abortion experiences?!?

If you've had an abortion can u give me ur experience of it like not emotionally but physically. & how far along u were when u got it? I really need people's experiences

I was exactly 8 weeks along. Went in and spoke with a very nice councillor for about 15 minutes. Then they took me back and had me change into a hospital gown and take off my bottoms and underwear as well as shirt. I had a locker with a code to put my belongings into and had to make up my own code. Then I was seated in the waiting area with 4 other girls. There was a tv and warm blankets and comfy chairs. After about 20 mins of waiting I was called in for an ultrasound. Once that was over I sat down for another 15 mins then was called into a room with a nurse who took my blood pressure reading and health history down. She also gave me an anti anxiety medication to take. After about 20 more mins of waiting I was collected by a nurse and taken into the procedure room where they administered an IV and had me lay down. Once the IV hit me I was quite out of it but could still feel a little bit of pressure down there like getting a Pap test down there. Then the doctor used the auction which caused some mild cramping. It was over in 5 mins and I was taken to the recovery room where the other girls were sitting in a reclining chair with heating pads. We were then given apple juice and cookies and then some antibiotics. My blood pressure was taken and I was told to rest for 20 mins. The nurse took out my IV and asked me to go to the washroom to check for how much bleeding was happening. After that was done I was given a care package with more antibiotics and all the written info on it. I carefully (still woozy from the IV) went and got my things from my locker and got dressed. My friend had to pick me up. Then I went home and just slept it off. All in all it was a decent experience and all the support and kind nurses helped a lot! Just be prepared for a lot of waiting around.

I was 3 months and felt weak, but over the years I got over it... but I think that's one reason it stopping me from having babies cause since I did that it's very difficult to get pregnant

It was a lot of pinching pain. I was 8 weeks 4 day and 8 weeks 5 days with twins and was forced into it by an abusive partner. Anyways, there are different kinds of abortions. Mine was an evacuation. They lay you on a table and give you meds then basically stick a tube in and suck it out. It is a bit of pain but if you're holding onto something you'll be fine. Feels like something is hitting your cervix hard because they dilate it. Afterwards you'll be pretty high from the drugs they give you. When you get home you'll probably sleep a while. If you really want to go through with it I suggest making sure there will be someone to drive you home.
