Anyone else on labetalol for high blood pressure?

My doctor put me on it but my blood pressure wasn't that high when he did. I've been checking it everyday and it hasn't been high, so I guess it's working. He said he was more worried about my pulse, which has been high recently and I've been feeling so out of breath. How is it working for you?

I had to get off it. I couldn't function on it between issues breathing and crazy headaches. Don't switched me to methydopa and then got low enough I have been able to not take any meds just monitor BP at home....

I'm 20 weeks along and I take it twice a day. I switched from a different beta blocker once I got pregnant and it works well for me. My blood pressure has been perfect so far. Good luck!

I'm on it I take it twice a day. Some days it works really well but I'm now on bed rest because my bp has been high at my Drs appts lately. But I found out Monday if I still have to stay on bed rest. Im 34 weeks 3 days

I was on it with my last pregnancy. It kept my BP under control for 3 weeks, then preeclampsia took over and we had to deliver.

I'm on the same meds. Been on it since I got pregnant. I am 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant now. But I am getting induce March 4, 2016 due to.hypertension even though my blood pressure has been perfect the whole pregnancy. My doctor just doesn't want me to come upon preeclampsia. But I'm already 2cm dilated so she might come before Friday. Just waiting to see.
