Another baby?

Question

My baby is turning 3 months old in about 2.5 days. My husband already wants another baby and keeps begging me to try.

I want another baby too, I just don't know if it's to soon to start trying already. Also, we live with his dad and I'm not sure how his dad would react if we already get pregnant again, or even before we move out on our own.

How long did you, or do you plan, on waiting between your kids? I want my kids close together, not more than 2/3 years apart.

I'd definitely wait not because of age but because you guys do live at a parents house, maybe Wait till you enter a home of your own and see how it goes from there

I would wait till you have your own place. Plus having them close together is a risk to you and baby. My first was 2 years and 4 months older then his brother and it was a great space between the two. I got pregnant 4 months later ( that was unplanned but an awesome excitement to have another baby) and miscarried a couple weeks after and that was really hard on me and my husband. We now are having our third which will be due in September and there will be a 23 month gap between my soon to be middle child and baby. I think two years is a great gap if everything in life is set up right. Hope that helps

My first and second are 29 months apart. Second and third will be 30 months. My first was born by cesarean, so at least an eighteen month birth interval was recommended. My second was born vaginally, and even though I was not in a hurry to get pregnant, my midwife mentioned that it's important to let yourself heal for at least nine months to a year before conceiving again. I know it increases the risk for preterm labor.

We got pregnant right after my daughter turned 3 
Positives to waiting
1. She is potty trained (two in diapers is crazy expensive) 
2. She sleeps through the night 
3. She can dress herself and get her own snacks
4. She is super helpful with the infants I nanny  
5. More individual time for your little one.

My fist is five my second is two and I'll be having there brother in two weeks so they are 3 years and 2 years apart
