Not pregnant but no period?

Me and my partner use the pull out method, so obviously it's concerning when it comes around to my period. I got my period last month on the 26th, and was supposed to get it a while ago, I took a pregnancy test incase but it came up with not pregnant, but I still don't have my period & I have really tender breasts! Can someone give some tips ?
