How did you know? My doctor doesn't take measurments, and I feel like this baby is huge.

Measuring early refers to the number of cm from your pelvic bone to the top of your uterus. Lay flat on your back, take a tape measure and place it at your pelvic bone. Go straight up until you feel a 'ledge' that's about where the top of your uterus is. The number should match the number of weeks you are

My OB says she can estimate pretty well based on hand widths when she feels my uterus, and also based on the location of the fundus related to the navel. So far she's been spot on.
