Bleeding on tri sprintec

I am pretty new to birth control so hear me out. I am on my second month of pills so I know my body is still trying to adapt to BC. I skipped my first months sugar pills so that I could skip my period. Little did I know after taking my first week of my second months pills it decides to show up. I've taken the active pills but has been going on for a week now. I still have another week if active pills and my sugars which I plan to skip again. How long will this last and this normal for your first few months?
