The Pill and Periods

I started birth control almost a month ago I have two more pills until what I believe are my sugar pills. It being February my boyfriend and I have had a lot of fun this month (if you know what I mean) but we used a condominium almost every time. Tonight it was "all me" and there was some pinkish/reddish stuff there. Is this weird because I'm not on my sugar pills yet? Is this going to be my period soon? Should I be worried? When I first started the pill it was a few days after my period ended.
