Reusable or Disposable and why?

We use cloth and absolutely love it. My daughter alway had bad reactions to the chemicals in disposables and would get awful rashes and chemical burns. In case our son had extremely sensitive skin too, we chose to use cloth. We've been using cloth for 2months now and it's been great. If you choose to use cloth Fluff Love & CD Science is a great group on fb for good information and also an excellent place to set up your personalized wash routine depending on what washer you have or if you'll be handwashing (which I did for the first month and honestly it's not that bad at all). We have not seen a rise in our water bill at all and once you get more familiar with everything (cause it can be overwhelming learning about it at first) it's honestly not that hard at all. Also, you don't have to wash your washer after every wash. Whether you cloth or not you're supposed to fully clean your washer once a month regardless 😉

Clean and just comfy on my baby it's like a big underwear on her. I save so so much money on cloth diapers then on disposable diapers. I do use disposable diapers when I am like going out for a long day maybe appointments and shopping and just out for more than 4hrs. But if I'm out for less than3 hrs then I do use my cloth and just carry a bag to hold the dirty cloth. At first I was like ew I don't have time to wash them or clean them blah blah. But it wasn't that bad like people explained. It's easy 💖🙌🏽 I love my cloths

I'm a FTM and I'll be using cloth diapers, mainly because of the low cost and the fact that diaper rash is almost non existent when using cloth diapers. Also the prints are so darn cute 😊❤️

I'm going to try the honest company disposable diapers and wipes as well as cloth diapers from Alva baby and bumgenius... My goal is to use cloth only but whenever I need disposable I'm gong to use the honest because they are hypoallergenic and the cost is about the same as pampers or huggies

We're planning to use cloth - mostly for the financial benefit but also because my husband has/had really sensitive skin as a baby and got really bad rashes all the time and I'm praying that cloth will help us avoid that situation with our little one if her skin is like her daddy's.

We're going with an honest company diaper/wipe subscription. I've nannied for a few years and used these diapers and absolutely love them. $80/month for all the diapers and wipes shipped straight to your front door seems very reasonable to me. We're doing disposable simply out of convienience, and (I know I'll probably get flack for this, but...) the idea of washing all or our clothes in the same washer as a bunch of poop grosses me out. I've always hand washed any blow outs (which are pretty few and far between in my experience, as long as the diapers are the right size and changed when necessary) prior to putting them in the washer for this same reason. If I could afford to get two different washing machines, maybe I would consider cloth, but for now, it's disposable for us :)

Depends on you and what your needs as a family.  We travel a lot of it's not s day trip it's back to the east coast to visit family or Germany/Japan/Korea.  We also are both planning to work and so disposables are easier for us because they're more practical.

I just think disposable is easier. But then again I'm not that informed on cloth. Everyone in my family used disposable so I just did the same
