How are you announcing to your family?

How long are you waiting?

We only told our immediate family. And told them right away.  We told my mom by saying we were coming over. Showed up a half hour late ( on purpose to annoy her). Then after we sat down and got comfy my husband says, "OH! By the way, we are sorry that we were so late! But we felt it was appropriate because guess who else was late!" 
The look on my step dad's face was priceless.

I was going to wait until 12 weeks to announce, but we just announced yesterday. I'm 4+2 today. We decided not to wait because we don't want to hide behind fear right now. We lost my dad on thanksgiving after a horrific battle with cancer, my husband just returned home from a year long deployment in September and now my BIL is facing brain surgery. There has been so much crap for my family that we wanted to share our little ray of sunshine and be postive from the get go. Plus, all of these people who know now have supported us through our worst of times? I want them to be able to walk the good times with us as well, from the get go. That, and this bloating is no joke! I pop really early because I am so small and it's not my first, so I wouldn't really be able to wait until 12 weeks anyway.

We are waiting until at least 12 weeks since we had a miscarriage last month and every one was just so devastated. Celebrating privately until then, and we won't mind it. We have a 15 month old so they are totally all into him right now and center of attention so we want to give him a little longer lol. We are going to TRY to wait until we know the gender just because we think it would be fun to see their reaction after learning we could actually keep a secret! With my first I called my mom the second I saw two pink lines appearing haha.

I had planned o  waiting till we had our first ultrasound. But we ended up telling my parents, his parents and my two sisters the day we found out. Lol his sister we are waiting till 12 weeks. He is not as close to his sister as I am to mine.

We were thinking of making a special egg for the Easter egg hunt that announces the pregnancy!  :) I will be about 6 weeks at that point. If figure if something does happen and I miscarry I want my family to know anyway so I don't feel alone.  So that is the first time we will be around the whole family at the same time!

We are telling family tomorrow 4 week + 3 days, we decided if we do end up have a miscarriage we would rather talk to our family and friends and have that support. Plus I'm a nursing assistant so i had to tell my coworkers so they could help me with heavy lifts and iso patients.

2nd trimestre. I had a miscarriage last year and it's really hard to have to talk about . I pray things will work out this time but I just want to make sure everything is OK first So I've only told my husband, my mother and my boss

Waiting until after we confirm viability.  I've had 2 losses since Sept and don't want to gets anyone's hopes up to just disappoint, including myself.
