How are you ladies announcing?

I thinking on Mother's Day with our family members here. But I'm not sure about what type of social media announcement yet, as I have friends and family everywhere.

We are doing easter egg that says take a peep and having the ultrasound inside for hubby's family since it's grandchild 7, my parents are getting coffee mugs that say "pa, est . 2016 " since it's first grandchild

We had Chinese food and I gave fortune cookies that said "A new baby is coming to the family Nov 2016" 
They are so easy to make you just buy store bought fortune cookies and wet a paper towel put it over the cookie and microwave both for 30 sec. Rhen quickly take it out of the microwave and open it up and take out the old fortune and put the new one in and and refold the cookie closed. You have to do the switch before it cools

I'm 4w5d and thinking of announcing on Easter when I'll be almost 9 weeks :) Definitely want to have my ultrasound appointment before announcing and want to be at least 8 weeks.

My parents and best friend already know but my husband and I want to announce it in a cute way with a phot (well I want to announce it that way haha he doesn't care.)

I have a step daughter so I was thinking of telling her on Saturday before Easter (we have her weekends) and taking a few photos with my Nikon SLR camera with tripod to make it "professional" looking. I already bought her a "Best Big Sister" shirt and chalk board that we can write the due date on! She's 5 so she will be very excited :)

We also want to get some photos of just my husband and I and be able to keep these photos forever! I love photography so I think it's a cute way to announce :)

We will call close family(especially those without social media accounts) and then announce Easter morning on both our facebooks and Instagram! So exciting :)

I was considering Mother's day when telling extended family members since everyone will be together! I bought a superman, themed USMC onesie  (husband is a Marine) I have a wonder woman shirt & he's going to get a superhero t-shirt to go add to the theme!
