Just a rant about lazy parents and how much it drives me crazy. Took my daughter out to eat tonight for a mother daughter date. We went to a Japanese restaurant and dos the hibachi (where they cook in front of you). There were two other families there, one of which was a father, mother and little boy slightly older than my daughter. He was completely I'll behaved and rude and they did nothing about it. My daughter was trying to use her chopsticks and he yells at her "stop doing that girl!l the mom says apologize right now, he throws a fit... Never apologizes. Mouthed off to his parents the whole time. At the end the chef made balloon swords for all of the kids and he starts hitting my daughter with his. The mom just says I'm sorry he's obnoxious. I was like really? I wanted to tell her off and say hey YOU are the adult here, do something about your kid! Follow through with something for once in your life... He might be obnoxious, but he's a child, with lousy parents who don't teach him how to behave so it's not surprising. The obnoxious thing is that you are LAZY! At one point she even tried to blame it on public schooling... Smh. K! Rant over. 😊
