How often do you go to the doctor?

My goodness, I feel like every answer I see or get on this app is "go to the doctor", how often do you people see your doctor?? If I went for every bump, bruise or weird pain on my shoulder I would be going every week!

So, seriously. How often do you go to the doctor? At what point do you decide something is severe enough to justify a visit?

I probably go once or twice a year regularly. Now that I am pregnant I have the normal check ups every 4 weeks, and if I felt like something was not normal I would call the office and speak to one of the nurses. People on an app cannot diagnose something for me, but a nurse at my Drs office could tell me if I needed to come in.

I hardly ever go, I can't even remember my last checkup. Unless I have a severe problem or something really wrong I just wait for it to pass.

I wish I could never go to the doctor. I probably go twice a year for some weird thing or another. Just last month I went because my heart has been acting up, and this week I'm going for a pregnancy test/pap smear/gyno check-up. Ugh.

These girls that are showing some neon colored discharge def should be seeing a dr lol. Before I got pregnant I went like once a year and had to be dragged there but if I was really sick or had some weird shit going on with my vagina I'd definitely be visiting the dr more.

I see my GOI specialist every 4 months.
My ob(currently 4 months) every 4 weeks.
I see my PC 2-5 times a year.
And I see a orthopedist every 6 months(I have sever issues with my knee)
I see my dentist 2x a year( only because my insurance company says I have to!) 
I hate going to the doctor but now that I have my issues under control I can go less often!

I go several times a year due to being type 2 diabetic and having hypothyroidism. If I were perfectly healthy then I'd only go when I absolutely had to.

I go for my annual physical and any time I can't shake being sick after a few days or when I have other medical issues. Last year I saw my gp 3x and one of those appointments was just to get a referral for a surgeon to fix my abdominal incisional hernia.
