In Michigan it's always pop. You know someone's from out of state if they say soda

I think it depends where you're from. In Canada we call it pop... And in the States they typically call it soda.

I'm from Minnesota & its pop here, I went to Florida last year and asked a waitress what brand of pop they had and she was so confused and had to idea what I was talking about haha

I grew up in Kansas and called it pop. I then dated a guy from West Virginia and he called and soda and I've just stuck with that now.
