Old Wives Tale! Or not?

Question

Is it true that if you're having a girl they "steal your beauty?" as in your face breaks out and hair suddenly doesn't cooperate. Or if you're having a boy your skin is glowing and you're radiant? Anyway..fun to think about until that first gender revealing ultrasound!

Don't know if it's true but I've been pregnant 2x, both are girls, and I've looked like shit both times lol

I had horrible acne! Like all the way up the Side of my face and I never really break out ever. It was true for me, but probably just a coincidence

I wish!!! I'm having a boy and my skin was terrible in my first trimester, which made me think girl, then it cleared up, and now that I'm entering the 3rd trimester, he's making my face eat look like it's eating it's self again! Literally EVERY old wives tale told us girl, so we were beyond shocked when we found out we're having a boy!!!
