Should it be legal to hunt big game?

For those who don't know, it means things such as cheetahs, lions, etc. I think heck no. U should never kill an animal without the intent of using it as a source of food😤

Eh, it's a two sided coin.

Hunting game like that costs A TON of money. Like a shit ton. That money is then used for wildlife preservation and conservation. It actually helps endangered species a lot.

So yeah, a beautiful animal dies, but the money raised goes to some really great causes.

A lot of women on this app (and in real life for that matter) have no clue what hunting big game actually entails. I personally would never kill an elephant, cheetah, giraffe etc because I think they are far too exotic and beautiful to do so.
I saw another woman post about it who has the knowledge. Hunting big game like that costs A LOT of money. It's not something everyday hunters do for fun. Also, majority of the time they kill off an older member of the pride or group that is unable to hunt for itself anymore. Depending on the animal, a lot of hunters will also donate the meat to the nearby villages in places like Africa and such.
There is a lot more involved in it than just killing an animal. Poachers are one thing, but controlled hunting, I feel, is different.

No, but mostly because a lot of them are endangered already. And I mean....Do you plan on eating it?  And they also can't reproduce as quickly as they could be hunted. The higher up the food chain, the less there usually are. Deer? Okay. Pigs? Most definitely. Rabbits? Double yes. All are edible, breed so fast that they can literally become a nuisance to crops, and are by NO  means going endangered any time soon.

But that's just my thoughts. I'm open to other opinions, but I don't particularly relish the idea of killing for killer's sake.

I dont really get it either but just to clarify. Big game is hunted on property where they are raised on a certain property. Then really rich guys come in and kill the animal. They can use the meat if they want or donate the meat to local african tribes.

Those things are used for food and such....

Lions are considered pests in Africa, they terrorize and kill villages, they sell those hunts to people then use the meat to feed villages, every piece of those animals gets used for something by someone...Not just the head for mounting...

If you know nothing about it you should research it before you go trying to form and push a opinion on it.
