Does bc messed up your period?

So I got the iud taken out in the beginning of January got my period the end of January and now I'm 7 days late but I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it's negative. What could be wrong? I'm thinking the iud made my period irregular. We really want to get pregnant!

If it was the copper iud your period should return immediately. The mirena iud does take a few months for your period to regulate but you could be irregular for a few months.

Bc can deffs make your period irregular. I was on the Depo injection and took me 8 months to regulate. Maybe see your dr
