Question for a friend

My friend had a miscarriage at 9 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6weeks she would have been 12 weeks this week.) Even tho she hasn't been cleared, she's been trying again already... she went in for her follow up ultrasound d yesterday, amd the tech asked her during the ultrasound, in a strange tone, "are you trying again....?" She can't say if she saw anything or not, since she's just the tech... but is it at all possible she could be pregnant again??? This soon?
