Circumcision

I'm pregnant with my first son and I've discovered people have very intense views on circumcision. I personally don't want to have my son circumcised but some of my family and friends are very passionate about it and think I'm making the wrong decision. My husband and I researched it thoroughly and we've concluded that it's not necessary. I'm annoyed by how some people insist on telling me I'm wrong. We're not religious so that has no impact on our decision. Has anyone else had to deal with family and friends opposing your decision on circumcision? Regardless of what you chose, I'm curious as to how you delt with everyone's opinion on the matter.
