How long does it take?

How long were you ttc before you got pregnant with your first?  My husband and I have been trying for several months and I must admit I am surprised when it doesn't happen. I was wondering how long it takes usually. I am worried that I might have problems and I never considered that could be an issue. Getting worried...

We are currently on month 5 and AF is due March 14th. I am not gonna take a test until that day but hopefully I can say it took us 5 months :)

I am 30 and ttc #1. We have been trying for almost 4 years. But my friends have been much quicker...one friend conceived in 4 cycles, one within 6 months and one around one year.

My first baby I was 21 and conceived after 1 cycle. My second baby I was 24 and conceived after 3 cycles. We're trying for our third baby now and so far we're on the 4th cycle age 30. Supposed to have AF on the 14th and I plan to test on the 10th. I was very lucky and blessed with the first 2, this one is taking longer but I had an IUD for 5 years so I feel that's the issue. My OBGYN says that it usually takes 6-9 months to conceive on average. Good luck!

I conceived in my mid 20s by accident - one careless night. At 29 I conceived third cycle just guessing when the fertile times were. This time around at 36years old using opks and temping and tracking cm we are on cycle 7 - no luck yet...

I was very lucky and conceived on our third cycle trying. Most healthy couples will conceive within 6-8 months of trying. Any longer than a year and you should seek the advice of a doctor. Good luck! Baby dust!

I'm 30 and my husband is 31 and we tried for 2 months but I know I'm a lucky one. I used OPKs in addition to the app because my periods are very painful off of birth control so I wanted the best chance. My friend who is a few years younger took 4 months, but she was in her mid 20's. Good luck!
