telling everyone your otw to hospital

Ok so once your otw to hospital of course you want to tell family your in labor, I don't know why I got mad about this but our last baby, my mother in law was the first person to post (Facebook) that we were at the hospital, I wanted to be the one (or hubby) to tell everyone. So my question is this a nice way to tell family that we are otw to hospital and not to post anything??
