No signs of labor at 38 weeks?

Can you go from having no signs to it just coming on? I am getting so grumpy because I feel like she is never going to come 😩

I read an article on parents.com that said signs of your body getting ready for labor are Braxton hicks, discharge, dilation, and then water breaking. That's all it said though

I was the same way with my other two. I was just so ready for them to come. My oldest girl I believe sex was the factor of her finally coming cause the next morning I woke up with lower back pain and bleeding.  Went to the hospital I still wasn't even dilated by much but because I was 39 weeks already and bleeding and having pain they kept me and gave me pitocin to speed up the process. It was 11 something when I went in and 4 something i started to feel like i had to poop nurse comes and check me and she says "omg I see her head" 4:36 07/12/09 I had my first baby girl. Then I turned around and had her sister 06/12/14 at 39 weeks also.  Now I'm carrying their brother I'm 34 weeks today and due date 4/20 but to keep the 12 rolling I hope to have him 4/12/16 in which I'll be 39 weeks as well but just hold on she'll be coming.

Your baby is full term but not due yet. Try not to stress. I'm 40+2 and you will drive yourself crazy waiting for every symptom.

I had contractions on and off starting out of no where at 39 weeks had my son at 39 weeks 3 days everything just came out of no where but my water never broke the hospital broke it for me .. So just a hint don't wait around for it to break lol
