Can't buy anything?

Question

23 weeks and I've been super excited about buying stuff for my baby and I find lots of things that I love.... But I just can't bring my self to buy anything.... Why is that? Is there something wrong with me? I really have no clue I just can never seem to push that buy button online or bring the item up to the till. :/

I think it's fear. I have this also. I fear if I buy something this early then something might happen. This is our second so we have most stuff but I know how you feel. We actually did order a car seat last night because it was a great deal that ends tomorrow but other than that we will wait until nearer the due date. No rush

Here I am thinking I'm the only one that felt this way! I haven't had a newborn in almost 12 years! I'm nervous as hell and I don't wanna jinx anything. I've seen so many Bute things that I'd love to get for baby girl but I'm so hesitant. I'm glad I'm not the only one though. Makes me feel a little better

I've been having problems too because for me it stills doesn't seem real even though we saw her at the 20 week scan with no problems. 
It also doesn't help that I have no clue what to buy as this is my first ☺

Nothing wrong with you just haven't started nesting yet... I won't do major buying until post baby shower... until this just saving and decorating

I feel the same way. Before we knew it was a girl I would walk into the store and everything was super cute. Now, I walk in and walk out with nothing. Not sure what I need, or what to get. Maybe it's fear or I'm feeling overwhelmed lol

I felt the same for a while but decided that "it is what it is" buying stuff or not isn't going to change the future. I'm thinking positive thoughts and getting excited. That's all I can control in this crazy ride we are on.

I'm definitely glad to hear I'm not alone! This is our rainbow baby so I'm not sure if it just hasn't sunk in yet or not.... Even tho I feel her kick daily.
