Hi my lovelies, I have a question. Has anyone ever uninvited someone to an event they were having?

Some context...back in December, my grandmother wanted to drop off some Xmas presents for my stepson. We agreed on a time for her to come over and she never showed up. Called her and she said she wasn't feeling well so we rescheduled. Fast forward a few days. Have a new agreed upon time. Time comes, still a no show. Call her and she picks up and tells me she's on her way (mind you, we live over an hour a part). I get really annoyed and tell her she's being inconsiderate and we weren't going to be home by then. She gets mad and hangs up.

Now, I'm currently pregnant with my first child. Not once has she called me or asked how I am doing since this happened. My baby shower is next month and my friends originally sent out Evites that included her. She viewed the invitation, but didn't reply. I then saw my mom rsvped for both of them.

I told my mom that I didn't want my grandmother to come because I'll be damned if she shows up smiling in my face pretending everything is good when she hasn't spoken to me in months.

This really sucks because my grandmother and I have always been really close, but I'm trying to have a calm, stress free pregnancy with no negative energy around my Bean.

Am I being unreasonable? Has anyone ever had to uninvite someone to something because of their behavior?

**Update: I put on my big girl panties and gave her a call. She declined it.
