I used to be relatively close to my inlaws loved my mother in law as a mother honestly. Her and my mom have had a few rough patches especially after my mom voiced her concern because my husband is significantly younger then me (this is the norm in his family). We get along well we have a great relationship my mom since then has become very fond of my husband for what he does and how he is with my son and I (my son is from a previous relationship although calls my husband daddy). At any rate at the end of last year we had a HUGE HUGE blow out (she was having drinking problems at the time) she said some extremely hurtful things to me pushed me kicked my son and I out of her house for literally me sticking up for my child in which I over heard her screaming at for no reason. We said fine we left moved out didn't talk to them for 6 months it was a big deal, so much so I wasn't even invited to my nieces babyshower. Since they have found out I'm pregnant they want nothing more then to be around , fine I understand that however I really need to set some boundaries for myself with her she has already gone as far as bashing my mother again. Something in which I refuse to tolerate... Somebody HELP! My husband has even mentioned them wanting to throw me a baby shower and I am just not feeling that idea, this woman is alittle pushy and controlling I'd be lying if I said putting her in her place is an easy task.
