How soon can you tell the babies gender?

Our first ultrasound will be at 12 weeks. Is it possible to tell the babies gender so soon? When did you ladies find out?

No to early for the ultra sound.  They will do one around 20 weeks to possibly tell if baby is behaving.

Around 16 weeks is when you can start to trust gender on the ultrasound. Before then it can still be wrong

The pars don't develop properly till about 14 weeks. You can do the blood test which is pretty accurate but you won't get nothing out an ultrasound yet

Yes it's too early all babies have a nub until at least 13 weeks sometimes 14 weeks and we were told it was a boy at 16 weeks and it is 100% a girl
