If you have miscarried before, help! TMI

As I posted earlier, I am currently going through a miscarriage. The bleeding began at 1am yesterday, the horrendous pain at 4pm, I am physically feeling better. I just went to the bathroom about an hour ago & something came out of me. It was the width & length of a tampon (minus the string & applicator). Could it have been the baby? Or the placenta? Or was it just a big clump of tissue?
