Birth control question!?

If my wife is on a steady dose of birth control would it be safe to have sex with out a condom? I've heard many different stories on the subject.... What do you guys think? Any medical professionals on here with answers??

It's fairly safe. There's always a small chance she could get pregnant, but with perfect use (within an hour of the same time each day) it's very small.
