Is there a chance?
Let me preface this by saying, I'm a nurse and I should probably know better but none of this makes sense! Bare with me it's kind of long but input is appreciated.
First and foremost we have been trying for 5 years to get pregnant. There's been at least two chemical pregnancies and one miscarriage at 6 weeks. Since the. I've been on thyroid meds, metformin, and progesterone (days 10-28).
It's fair to say I'm intune with my body and normal premenstrual symptoms.
This last cycle (days 18-28) I was feeling pregnant- very sore nipples, glowing skin, nausea, hot, tired, etc.
Even with all the medications I usually spot a few days before my period and start right on time like clockwork at day 28. This last cycle I was 2 days late and even had a slow start to my period when it did start. I took pregnancy tests from from days 26-30 and all were negative so when I started to bleed I stopped the progesterone as directed.
I had a semi normal period minus never cramping or bloating like usual. There was some lining and clots but not nearly what I usually do either. Lasted about 4-5 days and then I was done. From cycle day 6 I have been having hot flashes and nausea. This morning at cd 8 it was out of control and I had major dry heaving, dizziness, and hot flashes. I'm sure there's no virus or anything.
Other minor possible symptoms:
-major heightened smell
- sensitive but not painful nipples
- major heartburn/reflux
- constipation
- craving for mints
- three separate people have commented "are you pregnant?" In reference to my noticing smells no one else notices and the weird craving.
-crazy dreams.
I blew off the whole comments because I had a period. Anyone else experience this and not be pregnant? My head is telling me this is insane to even wonder, that's not how it works! Ha but my symptoms are telling me otherwise. I mean I'm never late and I've been pregnant before and this is what it was like....
I'll be buying a pregnancy test later when I can actually stand up right and not have to run to the toilet.
