Does having sex help you get your period?

Anytime my period my hubby and i will do the deed and i get my period then next day! Does it work for any of you?

My sister was only spotting, her period didn't fully start at all till she had sex and her flow got very extremely heavy! Not sure if it'll help or not but this happened to her and her periods are NEVER heavy or red but that time it was!
