Painful periods, please help!
The past three months my periods have caused me so much pain the first two days I have had to go home from work. My whole life comes to a screeching halt. Instead of a squeezing feeling, my cramps feel like a hot iron is stabbing me in the lower abdomen and my legs go between feeling like they're on fire and a dull constant ache. I also become nauseous. The only thing that helps me is taking a prescription pain killer. Midol, ibuprofen, tylonol, I've tried them all and they have no effect.
Wondering if anyone has gotten checked out for this same thing, what your diagnosis was and what sort of treatment options there were (if any).
***Also, I do experience slight pelvic pain when I am not on my period. It only lasts a minute or so maybe a couple times a week and is not extremely painful, just noticeable.
