I miss the old days.

RANT:

Why is it that when something tragic happens in a relationship nowadays, people go bat shit crazy and leave just like that. What ever happened to trying to work things out, no matter what the situation is? Isn't that what love is supposed to be about? I can understand abuse. That's on a whole new level. But these girls that are just leaving because your man was talking to somebody? Maybe it was never their fault.

My mom and step dad went through a situation where my step dad had slept with another woman on a business trip. Yes my mom was pissed but guess what, they talked and put their feelings on the table and it turned out to be my moms fault for not showing him affection for so long. I'm not just talking about sex either. He literally had to ask permission to kiss her on the forehead or something along those lines. She's just not an affectionate person, so naturally when another woman showed him attention, he went for it. They are still together now and doing much better than they were! Give your man a chance to at least explain himself and you may actually learn a thing or two about him. That is all. ✌
