Breast pumps for flat nipples? Help!!!

I have flat nipples and get super uncomfortable with pumping 😕. Any suggestions?

I also have flat nipples and yes it is frustrating. When I started pumping it was with a first years pump. At first it was great but since I have flat nipples it wouldn't pump the milk out. I thought wow I guess I'm not producing enough milk so then I started researching to what to do. I read that it had to do with a flange size. The one I was using was a 21mm that was too big of course. So then I got in contact with the first yeras pump and told them about my problem. Thankfully they told me about a different size that might work for me. So I thought but I didn't. So then I decided to purchase another pump. I got the medela free style pump. Sadly I thought it was going to be better but It had the 21mm I couldn't even pump. So then I went on Amazon and started searching for the smallest flange size then I found it 19mm. Now I'm pumping more milk out and I'm happy. My baby has gained so much weight that I'm beyond happy. Try buying a smaller size flange and you'll see the difference.

You may be using the wrong size flanges? Is it like chaffing/rubbing? Or pulling
