What to expect at midwife appointment

Hey all, 
I'm approx 6 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have my first appointment with a midwife @ a birthing center on Thursday. What can I expect? Will she do an ultrasound? I know I could just call and ask but I'm trying to not be 'baby crazy'... Any tips for getting to know your midwife?

Write down list of questions as first appointment is really a meet and interview.  She will access your risk factors to see if you qualify as low/no risk and are able to have an out of hospital delivery.  At your gestational age they won't do an ultrasound or look for heartbeat just yet.  My midwife went over my questions, fears, her credentials, and nutrition.
