Why am I bleeding when I'm suppose to be ovulating?!?!

Hello everyone. I'm not yet pregnant but me and my boyfriend are starting to try. I just got my birth control out four days ago. Today I have started to light bleed. It's a bright red almost pink. Not enough to wear a tampon. I'm suppose to be ovulating. Is this normal?

After stopping birth control, a period is normal.

Yup. When first stopping any BC you will have a period first. It may even take a few months for your system to "reboot" so to speak and to have normal cycles.
