So last night, despite having the flu and feeling like death, my husband and I go to my cousin's wedding. While there, many friends and family members go to give me a kiss hello, but I dodge it and say, "no, I'm not feeling good." With that multiple people respond with, "oh... Are you pregnant?" First off, pregnancy is not contagious and, if it was, I would be rubbing up on every pregnant person I saw! Second, how rude are you!? One person, after I responded no I'm not pregnant, had the audacity to say, ohh you don't want kids... Excuse me, we have been trying for eight months. I have PCOS. It is fucking hard to get pregnant. And what business is it of yours if we want kids or not? Mind. Your. Own. My husband doesn't understand why this pissed me off so much. Maybe it doesn't hit him the same because he's a guy. But to me, it was beyond rude and was upsetting.
