Experienced breastfeeds? Advice plz

Ok so this is going to be my 3rd baby. 
I tried to breastfeed with my son who will be 3 june 11th but i wasnt producing enough milk. Then with my daughter who will be 1 april 20th i just didnt try. But i was wondering. How hard do you think it will be to breastfeed with two small children running around? How hard would it be to workout regularly? Is it hard to pump? How much weight will it actually help me lose?

Breastfeeding can be tough, but in my opinion SO rewarding. If your biggest problem was production, that's an easy fix! Fenugreek capsules or tea...there's a brand called Motherlove that you can get online that has tinctures, capsules, everything. Very effective. And my son ate A LOT so I lost weight like crazy! ☺️ pumping sucks, but I did it so I never had to give him formula.

I eat oatmeal to keep my supply up. It really helps. Make sure you eat often. It might be easier to prep on-the-go snacks ahead of time so it's more convenient to eat. And drink lots of water. I find drinking a large glass before bed allows me to be full enough to pump in the morning. I don't pump a lot only when I'm engorged, leaking, or have an outing and don't want to breastfeed in front of others.

If you're having supply issues DONT PUMP! You need to have baby on your boob on demand, as often as possible. Get a good baby carrier so you can nurse and run after your two other kids. It takes some practice but it's super easy and you're not stuck on the couch. No bottles or pacifiers for at least 6 weeks after birth. After that you can pump but I would only give bottles occasionally. These are all supply killers and if you're determine you can do it. Also don't supplement unless baby is clearly losing weight. As long as baby has enough to wet and dirty diapers they're getting enough milk.

A lot of your questions could go both ways depending on the person . For me I think breastfeeding is actually easier . However not everyone feels that way.  As for the working out ... I take my children for walks in the stroller around the block a few times and had a few exercise DVDs . I did all my working out at home so that didn't effect anything . Pumping isn't hard . It's just something you need to get used to and a good breast pump is always helpful! Now the losing weight aspect . For me the breastfeeding definitely help me lose all the weight I gained while pregnant . However I see a ton of women say they didn't lose anything until after they weaned .

There are so many things you can do to get your milk supply up. The main thing is that you have to be determined no matter how hard it gets. ;-)

From a time perspective, once you've got a routine down, BFing seems to save time. There's no bottle warming, washing, etc. and even less burping b/c babies are much less likely to suck air when BF.

I didn't have supply issues, but the other advice here matches what I've heard.

From a weight perspective. I was *below* my pre-pregnancy weight by 6 months pp. With basically no working out at all.

I personally hate pumping. Working out after your supply has been established is fine but make sure you keep your calorie count up. You can take Fenugreek tablets and make lactation cookies to help with supply. Pumping is suggested at every two hours for 20 minutes.
