Experience with NuvaRing? (started this morning!)
Ok ladies, I just switched from the pill to the ring, any users here? I want to know the good and the bad to expect!!
I didn't experience noticeable weight gain on the pill (maintain my weight at about 115 pounds). The pill made my mood swings CRAZY at first. I went on an antidepressant/anti anxiety medication.
My biggest fear is getting a blood clot 😥, my OBGYN's nurse said my risk was lower on the ring than the pill. Hoping this is true, as it was my deciding factor.
I've heard it causes strange vaginal discharge? Anyone care to elaborate?
So far, only mild discomfort while placing the ring this morning, but I can't even tell it is there now!
