Odd period???

Hopefully not TMI.

I have been trying to conceive for almost 3 years I have a five year old daughter and had miscarriage in Aug 2013.

Last month I decided to give fertility acupuncture ago, I had two sessions.

I was due my period today however it came Friday (no big deal) however it's been so odd no cramping hardly any red blood very light and quite brown in colour almost like the final days of my period.

It seems a little strange as it's never happened like this before could it be possible that the acupuncture has interfered I'm my cycle or does anyone else think it could be something else?
