16 weeks and small electric shock off oven?
Can anyone please put my mind at rest?
Whilst wiping down the oven hob this afternoon the 'electrical ignition' that sparks to light the gas hob gave me a small electric shock. I felt it in the end of my finger and pulled my arm away straight away, and it felt like a small electric shock. I don't think it went up my arm or anything, but I'm now in a total panic as to whether this will have travelled through my body and harmed my baby?! Hubby thinks I'm being ridiculous, but I've googled it and have read you should seek fetal monitoring in hospital ASAP, as it can harm the baby's heart or cause miscarriage. I called my midwife's office, but she won't call me back until tomorrow now.
Please tell me I'm panicking for no reason? :(
