Am I pregnant?!

Question

I have had the marina IUD for about 8 months now and I've had a regular cycle but I am now 2 weeks late. And the IUD is the only protection My S/O and I are using. I've taken 2 tests that came out negative and I have no symptoms. Should I be worried?

After 6/9 months your period should stop completely.  So it might just be that.

No, you shouldn't be. I though the same exact thing when I first got mine. Except, when I took pregnant test I was experiencing symptoms. I also took three pregnant test and two came back positive while the other came back negative. I went to make an appointment for a blood test to see if I was pregnant and my gyno told me it sometimes happens to younger girls who first get the IUD. Great info for him to leave out, huh? If you aren't experiencing any symptoms you most likely aren't, but if you're still late you can talk to your doctor about it or wait to see if you start. Which ever you're more comfortable with.
