My father in law seems to be very squeamish about breastfeeding and j haven't even had my baby yet. Today at my shower I got some "milk maid" tea and when I was saying thank you I said "I'm bringing this to the birth center so it will help nursing right away...and I can be a milk maid" and laughed thinking it was funny. He got pretty uncomfortable and loudly said "woah hey that's more than grandpa needs to know...a little tmi". What I said felt very vauge and tame to me and makes me nervous for how feeding around family will go😬. I do not plan on using a huge cover and definitely will not be leaving the room to feed my baby. I guess he will have to get used to it!
