Short cervix??

Question

This is my fourth pregnancy..all others I had to have c sections because I could not dialate. Now all of a sudden with this one I go to my 20 week scan n apparently my cervix is thinning and measuring 2.4 cm??? Now super scared Everytime I have cramping or bh ugh anyone else?? Outcome??

I too have a short cervix..I got a cervical cerclaghe placed on Feb 4 at about 17-18 weeks I believe , to keep my Lil boy in...so far so good I'm 24 weeks today. Im also on bed rest and light duty. Doc says everything looks great so far.and at my last appt. I hadn't lost any more length

I'm in the same boat! My MFM told me my cervix might just be this shirt the whole time and to not worry about the BH contractions. It scared me too! But I've been trying not to worry about it as much. I go once a week now for cervical lengths. I'm hoping this will keep me from worrying too much. I'm 21 weeks today and measured at 2.5 Thursday.

It's so weird tho cuz my cervix has always never wanted to dialate n I have a narrow pelvic so I require c section

Yes I have appt Thursday so fingers crossed there's no change.  If so it's gonna be a long road cuz I have 3 kids all under 7 n my husband is honestly not a lot of help when it comes to them lol

My cervix has been 2.8 this entire pregnancy so try not to worry. I have had to go every 2 weeks and then every week to have it measured but since it's been sitting at 2.8 they don't seem too worried. Had it gotten shorter and shorter they talked about a cerclage. Are you going back soon for another check and do they seem

I'm 25wks 2d at my appointment last Thursday my cervix was 2.6 and I've been put on bed rest for a week. I go back this Thursday to be recheck and if it has stopped my dr is going to insert cervical cerclage.

My cervix was 3.1 at 20 weeks , then at 21 weeks it went to 1 and it also was funneling . I had to have a emergency cerclage done to keep my cervix closed. My doctor put me on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy. I also get progesterone shots once a week. I am now 22 weeks, it feels like a waiting game. Stay off of your feet and try to do light activities only.

I missed my last 2 appointments too check so that's also why I'm worried ugh had a lot going on I go the 24th
