Low Amniotic Fluid

I went in for a routine ultrasound today and was admitted to labor and delivery because I have low amniotic fluid. They told me either my water broke or I'm dehydrated. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you have any other symptoms if you were just dehydrated? I've had four contractions with in the first hour of being admitted. I'm waiting on test results now. Thanks ladies :)
