WHEN IS THE NORMAL TIME TO HAVE A BABY SHOWER?

Question

When is the normal time to throw the baby shower? I'm a first time momma and I've only ever been to one shower. When do expecting moms usually have theirs?

Usually within a month or two before due date but nothing past 36 wks. A month before gives you time to gather what you need that you didn't get. With my oldest I had mine at 32wks and gave birth at 37, this time I'm having mine At 34wks. Good luck!

Mines at 30weeks since I won't go past 37weeks

I have no one but my aunt to throw me one, and she's chosen June 18th as the only day she can do it, and I'm due July 1. I'm freaking out a little as that doesn't give me much time to gather what I'll still need or return what I don't etc. 
But I'm just trying to be grateful I'll be having one at all.

In my opinion, any time after 30 weeks.

Had mine at 30 weeks. They wanted me to wait until about now when its warm to have it but the last few weeks I haven't had the energy to even do anything. I advise you have it before you're too tired to want to have one
