I just started birth control this month and my cycle without it was about every 15 days I would get my period. My birth control should change it so I go a full 25 days without my period. I talked to my doctor about this and he said as long as I take the pill at the same time every day my period wouldn't come for 25 days. However my period came after only 12 days and I've been taking the pill at the same time every day like I was told. My doctors on holidays right now so I can't reach him, and I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced this or has any advice?
