The Pill, Emergency Contraceptive & Being Responsible

Sammi • 20 years old I love my dog Daisy.
I've been looking through posts lately, and it astounds me that people put things in their body but won't read the info given to them about it. Seriously girls, read the pamphlets in your pills, patches, whatever. They explain when to take it, what to do if you miss it, etc. just so you know though there are some things you absolutely NEED to know:
•Birth control- pills needs to be taken within an hour of the same time EVERY day to reach maximum effectiveness. Don't skip around on the pack. Read the pamphlet. You take the pill regardless of if you're bleeding or not.
•Emergency Contraceptives: may not be effective for women over certain weights, depending on the type/brand of EC. DO NOT use as a primary means of birth control. Using it more than 2 times a year can be seriously damaging to your health and reproductive organs. So if you're having unprotected sex, use another form of birth control like the pill, patch, IUD, shot, implant, or whatever, but don't treat it like its a regular birth control, it's not!
You CAN get pregnant any time of the month, you're simply less likely to get pregnant if you aren't ovulating. You can also get pregnant from pre-cum, but pulling out is better than nothing.
Be safe ladies! 😘
