Zoloft while pregnant?

I can't stop taking it, I have severe depression. How bad is it for baby?

It's safe. I was on 200mg of Lamictal and 150mg of Zoloft before getting pregnant, and I am now almost 29 weeks and still take 50mg of Zoloft. It is safe all through pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I take it I stopped because I was pregnant and I did way more harm to my self I asked my dr and a pediatrician and both said it would be no harm to the baby. I take 50 mg every other day

I take 100 mg of Zoloft a day and was told more damage would be done if I didn't take it!

I think it's probably safe. My psychiatrist told me she didn't want me on my antidepressant because she said the pharmaceutical companies will do anything to make money and make ther drug seem safer than it is. But she just didn't think it was worth the risk. So I guess it's up to you and your doctor to decide if the benefits outweigh the risks.

I didn't want to be on anything and I was getting HORRIBLE anxiety. I am on 25mg Zoloft and my doctor gave me .5mg of Ativan

Many antidepressants are considered safe to take during pregnancy. Certainly safer than going cold turkey, and risking serious mental health issues. 
If you are concerned, chat with your GP or midwife.
